At Poppins Educational Services we aim to provide a high quality of care and education for young children and their families. We feel that in doing so we help them to become the best that they can be now and into the future. We strive to provide experiences that allow children to engage all of their senses as they explore the changing world around them through hands-on and play based learning.

  

We value the diversity of the wider community and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land where we now reside. With this in mind our Educators aim to implement an individual program that caters to each child’s different skills, cultural background, needs and personal interests. We feel that play-based learning when used alongside the Early Years Learning Framework or My Time, Our Place allows children to develop to their individual potential. As no two children are the same and their personal paths of growth and development will take different directions we feel that it is important to tailor each child’s learning program to them specifically.

  

The importance of families and the wider community for a child is key so we strive to be inclusive by providing regular opportunities to get involved in the creation of the program, special events, excursions and the day to day activities. We have frequent opportunities that allow for families to be involved in the implementation and evaluation of the changing learning programs.

 

Our mission statement is a changing document that is created to suit the current needs of children and their families along with the wider community therefore it is regularly evaluated and updated when required.
